Florence Soccer Association (FSA)
Select Team Manager Duties


  • Primary contact for the team (FSA and League)
  • Manage financial affairs of the teams.  (It is recommended that a separate team bank account be opened.)
  • Collect player birth certificates and provide to FSA Select Registrar.
  • Prepare players/coach's cards:
    • The Cards are provided by SCYSA through the FSA Select Registrar
    • Obtain player/coach signature on the card
    • Affix 1" x 1" player/coach photo (face only, no hats, or sun glasses)
    • Laminate each player/coach card
  • Coordinate uniform orders for the team and purchase from vendor specified by FSA.
    • Player sizes
    • Player number
    • Collect payment for uniform
  • Attend or ensure that the coach/representative attends the PMSL/SCSCL (U13 and older) scheduling meeting in Columbia on August 7th or Sandlapper League (U12 and younger) scheduling meeting (date has not been identified).
  • Keep the SCYSA player/coach's cards and official SCYSA roster, and present to referees prior to each game
  • Update game scores on League Web Site
  • Register team for tournaments
  • Pay referees prior to each game
  • Maintain a SCYSA Medical Release Form for each player.
